Fridgedoor is new, and a person reads every message. Here's how to reach us, and answers to common questions.
Contact us by email
Write from the email address you use for Fridgedoor so we can find your account. If you sign in with Apple and hide your email, tell us your home's name instead.
How do I invite someone?
On Home, tap your home's name at the top, then Invite someone, and share the six-letter code. The other person opens Fridgedoor, chooses Join with a code and types it in. A code works for seven days, and you can make a new one any time.
How do I leave a home?
Leaving a home from inside the app is on its way. Until then, email us from the address you use for Fridgedoor and we'll take you out of it. The home and its lists stay with everyone else.
If you're the only person in a home, deleting your account deletes the home too.
How do I delete my account?
On Home, tap your home's name, open Settings and choose Delete account. This deletes your account and profile. Homes you share stay with the other members, with your name removed from the items; homes only you are in are deleted with everything in them. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Fridgedoor's access to your Apple sign-in.
Deleting the app alone doesn't delete your account. You can also email us and we'll delete it for you.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email us from the address you use for Fridgedoor and we'll send you a copy of your account and your homes' lists in a machine-readable format, within one month.
What does early access mean?
Plus isn't on sale yet. Your home can ask for early access in the app, and we look at each request ourselves. If we approve it, everyone in your home gets Plus free for a set period.
It never turns into a paid subscription by itself, and we'll never charge you automatically. Plus will become paid later: we'll tell you before early access ends, and you choose whether to subscribe.
Why does Tidy up need Apple Intelligence?
Tidy up turns a pasted list into clean items sorted by aisle, using Apple's on-device language model, part of Apple Intelligence. It runs on your iPhone, so nothing you paste leaves the phone. That's also why it needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, on iOS 26, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings and its model downloaded.
Without it, pasting a list still works: each line becomes an item, amounts like “2x” or “500 g” are picked up, and the aisle is guessed. Tidy up is part of Plus.
I'm not getting store-run pings
When someone starts a store run, everyone else in the home gets a notification. If yours don't arrive, check that notifications are on for Fridgedoor in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications. The person at the shop doesn't get a ping for their own run.
